Alessandro and Sonia, husband and wife and founders of the Boutique Hotel in Piazza della Signoria, made their home a refined place for those who love Florentine art, elegance and lifestyle.
The charming historical building, located at northeast corner of Piazza della Signoria was built at the end of the 14th century. When Alessandro and Sonia began the restoration work, they discovered frescoes from the 15th and 18th centuries that made them feel like they were in a museum.
It was love immediately, they felt like they were part of these walls and so they decided to share it with everyone and open the hotel.
In the Boutique Hotel in Piazza della Signoria the rooms are in Renaissance style, each one different from the other, enriched with antique furniture.
Spacious and bright, with windows overlooking the historical square, the rooms have the name of illustrious Florentine personalities and bear the traces of them.
Facing the windows you can admire some of the most interesting views of the city: Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Loggia dei Lanzi, Dome of the Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Florentine Badia, Bargello Museum.
It’s a kind of magic when you find yourself immersed in the heart of the historic center of Florence.

At the door next to ours, within the historic Palazzo della Mercanzia, there is the Gucci Garden. The space houses a boutique with unique items, the Gucci Osteria and the Gucci Museum, where the whole history of the Florentine fashion brand is told.

Passion for boats and sailing has always been part of our family, and sharing the passions and the joy for them is what enriches us the most. Our boat is just one hour drive from Florence, you can share a day with us or take a short cruise for a few days.
